Discovery Settlers Hotel is a 54 room, 3 star hotel located in the heart of beautiful Whangarei. A restaurant & bar with conference facilities is also located on-site.
We currently are looking for people to join our extremely busy team in the following positions…
Chef
Applicants MUST have:
- Proven cooking skills - a qualified all-rounder with at least 2 years experience
- Ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and as part of a team
- Outstanding time management and excellent communication skills
- Availability to work some late nights and weekends
Housekeeping Staff
Applicants MUST have:
- Previous experience essential with excellent levels of attention to detail
- A passion for providing exceptional guest service
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- High motivation and energy levels
- The ability to manage time effectively
- Work well within a team environment
- Have a clean criminal record
Receptionist
Applicants MUST have:
- Experience in the hotel front office department
- Possess strong customer service and communication skills
- Be well presented, and be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Ability to multi-task and cope under pressure
- Good computer skills are essential
